This semi-crystalline thermoplastic construction material is a real bundle of energy: with a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalat (PET) base, products in this range are particularly suitable for electrical and electronics applications. The strengths of RIALOX® B, including good electrical insulation properties, are particularly apparent in this application area. The specific properties of PBT and PET are optimised in conjunction with glass beads, minerals or reinforced with fibres. In addition to fire protection products, this product range also includes impact-modified types and products with improved hydrolysis resistance.
